Paléo is now into its fourth day. The days have been hot and sunny and last night was warm with great music. Mont Blanc was looking magnificent as a backdrop to it all and the moon shone on the tents and stages.
New additions to the festival are a fabulous ramp . Walk up it and you get a great bird's eye view of the festival grounds. At nightfall it is lit up in neon.
Check out the swinging rabbits. "Let's meet by the rabbits" was a familiar phrase for our party last night as there was a problem with text messaging. Swisscom are addressing the issue, but if you are going up to Paléo best to have a standby meeting point decided in advance in case it's not fixed.
The Village du Monde theme this year is Brazil.
Belem in Brazil this way, Mont Blanc the other.
There is Brazilian food on sale (try the fechuada, a hearty Brazilian dish - meat with beans), then wash it down with a bottle of Brazilian wine. There is various Brazilian free entertainment in the Village du Monde area and last night the crowd loved seeing the Capeoira dancers.
Relax on the air beds
If it does gets chilly late at night, warm up by the fires.
Images of happy Paleo goers and performers from last night (Thursday)
An enormous crowd went to see Manu Chao (below) and what a great performance this band gave, a full two hours set to the delight of the festival goers.
Enjoy the final three nights, and remember if you still haven't got a ticket, then all is not lost. 1,000 tickets do go on sale at 09:00 each morning on the Paléo website and at Ticketcorner.
