There is a new Nyon council leaflet which has been published for its residents and distributed around the town.
The leaflet is a handy reference to many of the free local events coming up in the area until the end of September. For example, on the 29th May it’s the “Fête des Voisins” (Neighbours’ Day) in Nyon. On the 2nd June, it’s “Journée du vélo” (Bike Day). This day is an opportunity to take part in lots of biking activities around the town and to buy or sell a second hand bike. On the 2-3 June its the Fête de L’Interculturelle and looking ahead to the 8th September, on that day it’s the “Journées du Patrimoine” when all the museums in the area offer free entry with guided visits.
