On September 9th and 10th there will be an intensive weekend of French language, which includes a private wine tasting at a local vineyard near Nyon on the Saturday, and on the Sunday you get to visit a glassmaker and try out your creative skills by crafting an object in glass.
It’s a great chance to practice your French, to meet new people and discover the area at the same time.

This weekend is organised by the Sapphire School in Eysins, a village just on the outskirts of Nyon.
This brand new school opened in May this year and is run by Swiss teacher Laure-Anne Piaget. The school offers French classes for individuals or groups (capped at a maximum of five students so all students have the chance to talk) and can cater to each student’s pace whether it’s day-to-day conversational French or something more challenging. Private classes can also be organised on Saturday and during before or after work hours.

There is plenty of parking outside the school. Laure-Anne can also visit you in your home or office for private lessons. Her aim is to give you the confidence to become involved in life in French speaking Switzerland.
