Although the sky was grey for the first night of Paléo, there was still plenty of colour around the festival grounds. Particularly impressive this year, is the installation of “the Andes mountains” which are made out of rope and can be found in the Village du Monde area. These installations also double up as seating areas, and when they are lit up at night, they look spectacular.
If you want a good view of Paléo from above, it’s worth taking the ferris wheel (CHF 6 per adult and CHF 4 per child), to see the whole grounds and the stages from on high. With the lake in the background, it’s an impressive sight. See photo essay below. Coming up shortly, a review of last night’s concerts by Jonas Parson.
