There are various tents and stages across the grounds at Paléo, one of them, is the Le Detour tent, (see map here) and on Tuesday night at just 16:45, this tent was already rocking to the Pierce Brothers from Australia.

Despite the heat they ran onto the stage and kicked off the first night with a bang. With their pop/folk/rock music, enthusiasm and friendly barefoot Ozzie style, (one of the brothers even tried out a bit of passable French) they got the audience dancing and singing.
They explained they were touring with fellow Australian Tash Sultana who was performing at Les Arches later on. Also barefoot that night, Sultana, this very talented artist wowed the crowd singing and playing a variety of instruments from sax to guitar with a mixture of reggae and rock.
Over on the main stage at 21:30, Christine and the Queens bounded on to the stage with supreme confidence and a brilliant intro, with dancers around her and perfect timing, the crowd adored her and roared their appreciation of the superb set. As did the crowd for 21 Pilots who appeared at the end of the evening with a spectacular light show, a burning car and more. A great start to Paléo 2019.
Note: Living in Nyon posted videos from the concerts on its Facebook page on Tuesday night.
