Tickets are now on sale for The Morges Book Festival (Le livre sur les quais) which will take place from the 6th – 8th September 2019.
Literary stars and debut writers, poets and translators, authors of crime fiction, travel writing, non-fiction and books for children and teenagers will give talks (in French and English) and join panel discussions in various locations around the beautiful old town of Morges and during cruises on the lake.
Authors listed on the English programme this year include: Anne Griffin, author of the bestselling novel When all is Said. She will be in discussion on Saturday 7th at 11:00 – 12:00 with Michelle Bailat-Jones (moderated by Clare O’Dea, author of the “Naked Swiss”).
David Mitchell, author of Cloud Atlas, Black Swan Green and The Bone Clocks has been shortlisted twice for the Booker Prize and in 2003, he was selected as one of Granta‘s Best of Young British Novelist. He will be in discussion on Saturday 7th at 15:00 and Sunday 8th at 14:00
