There were a lot of events happening in the Nyon and Vaud area last weekend! Living in Nyon attended a couple of these and took photos of members of the public dressed up in costume. From the elegant period dresses of the ladies at the “Déjeuner sur l’herbe” picnic in Prangins, to the smart suits, blazers and waistcoats of the men at the “Gentlemen’s Bike Ride” in Nyon.

Lunar Eclipse in Vaud
If you missed the lunar eclipse in the early hours of Monday morning, take a look at this video below. It was taken from the hillside above Burtigny, facing La Dôle. Local professional photographer Alistair Scott braved the cold and the wind, took more than 800 photos and stitched them together to make this terrific timelapse.
