Hiking and Fondue offer, plus Flea Market in Morges on Sunday 25th October
If you like hiking and you also like a fondue, this latest special offer from Nyon tourist board looks good fun and value for money. For just 25 CHF per person, you can take a return train trip to St-Cergue, you will receive a map with recommended walking routes then after a walk in the Jura, you can have a warming fondue in a local restaurant. As a bonus, the tourist board are also throwing a pair of flip flops in to the package! This special package is available every day up until the 12th December 2015. Vide-Grenier this Sunday in Morges
On Sunday October 25th from 08:00 -18:00 there will be a “vide-grenier” (flea market) in Morges. The vide-grenier is situated in the big CFF (railway) hall. Entry is free. More info here

It’s wonderful that Nyon is doing this package of train, hike, and St-Cergue restaurants for fondue. La Trelasse on La Givrine was teeming this Sunday with a lively crowd basking in the bright sun.
(But it’s a bummer that the poster has a misspelling, reccomandations instead of recommendations. Why don’t the local tourist authorities ever get native English speakers to proofread their promotions?)
